Sai Dharani Sponge Iron has been in operation for over 20 years
Iron ores are rocks and minerals from which metallic iron can be economically extracted.
- The Iron Ore are usually rich in iron oxides and vary in color from dark grey, bright yellow, or deep purple to rusty red.
- Various Forms The iron is usually found in the form of magnetite, hematite, goethite, limonite or siderite.
- Usage Iron Ore is used in manufacturing of Iron and Steel.
Since 2004 we were serving our customers with un-interupted supply of material in tune with the market demands. Material is excavated from mine by Excavators and ROM is screened to produce Calibrated Lumpy Ore in 5 to 20 MM, 20 to 40 MM, +40 MM sizes, Fines which is -10 MM size is considered as Laterite.
LATERITE
Laterite is produced in – 10MM size after screening of ROM.
Laterite is being used in cement manufacturing as additive to improve the strength of cement.

- Usage The ratio of Laterite consumption depends on quality of Lime stone being consumed and the grade of cement being produced.
Sai Dharani Group never compromises on the quality even though the business volumes of these minerals are relatively on the lower side. Laterite is both a soil and a rock type rich in iron and aluminium and is commonly considered to have formed in hot and wet tropicalareas. Nearly all laterites are of rusty-red coloration, because of high iron oxide content. They develop by intensive and prolonged weathering of the underlying parent rock, usually when there areconditions of high temperatures and heavy rainfall with alternatewet and dry periods.

RESOURCE MINING
Iron Ore and Laterite Mining with best quality standards
Sai Dharani Group is a pioneer in the Indian mining industry with Iron ore mineral concessions of 100 Acres in the state of Andhra Pradesh. Right from exploration activities, we participate in the identification of mineral deposits, acquisition of mining leases through competitive auctions.
- Transparency in Practice We, as a Group, believe in and practice transparency and adhere to all regulatory frameworks proposed by the Indian Bureau of Mines (IBM) and Directorate General of Mines Safety (DGMS).
- Iron ore & Laterite Sai Dharani has got the mining lease by name Sai Dharani Sponge Iron Private Limited for Iron Ore and Laterite over an extent of 40.469 Hectare (100 Acres), in Nellore District, Andhra Pradesh State, India.
The mining lease was granted by the Industries & Commerce (Mines) Department and it was executed on 24–02-2006 and registered by the registrar on 25-02-2006. The mining lease is valid for 20 years from 24-02-2006 to 23-02-2026 and the same is being extended for another 30 years i.e. upto the year 2056. The mining operations are started from 14.08.2006.
MINERAL PROCESSING
Sai Dharani Group has been in operation for over 20 years
Beneficiation Technology Sai Dharani Group has an Iron ore lease in Andhra Pradesh State. The group is carrying out the Mining and Processing of Iron Ore. Most of this lease is of low grade iron content. Hence the group invested in beneficiation technology and implemented it.
- Hematite Fe content in Hematite (a form of Iron ore) is low and ranging from 46 to 50%.
- Run-Off Mine The Run-Off Mine (ROM) extracted from mines is subjected to screening plant established within the leasehold area.
- Screening Plant The capacity of this screening plant is 200 TPH. This product is widely used in Sponge Iron and Steel making.
